This coming Sunday's service should be memorable for many reasons. First, we've a special activity for the children; second, the adults have a craft to make; third, the children will help me with telling the Easter story; fourth, there will be an Easter egg hunt after church; and fifth, and most importantly, we will be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ!
In the words of the excellent hymn, "Come, people of the risen King",
1. Come, people of the risen King
Who delight to bring Him praise
Come all and tune your hearts to sing
To the morning star of grace
From the shifting shadows of the earth
We will lift our eyes to Him
Where steady arms of mercy reach
To gather children in
Let every tongue rejoice!
One heart, one voice
Oh, church of Christ, rejoice
See you at Laurance Haines School, 10.30 am!
